Have you tried dihydroberberine? I’ve been trying to research berberine and that is the form that was recommended to avoid side effects. I personally feel like over use of prescription drugs are a huge problem and subtle or non subtle put the body out of balance little by little from when we are young until we have problems as adults. Some drugs are absolutely necessary some are not.

Eat a protein breakfast at 12noon. Fast from 6pm-12noon. 2 meals a day no snacks in between. Dr Jason Fung has good books on it. Also read ingredient labels. Sugar is hidden in everything. Avoid artificial colors, flavors, gmo ingredients. Incorporate more vegetables and vegetable juicing is helpful for energy and nutrition

I’m about to start amlodipine suddenly, tonight.

I have a fatty liver, insulin resistance, and pre-diabetic. I was diagnosed a few days ago. I feel scare. I'm 250 pounds have to lose 100😮

After being on Amlodipine for 6 days, I was awakened at 3 am with extreme heart palpitations and bp higher than I have ever had. I rushed to the ER and they ran blood work, ekg and chest x-ray and was discharged. I told to see my doctor. I mentioned this to my doctor the next day as it happened to me 2 days in arow and he said let me oh let me write you a prescription for another drug that will lower my heart. Right there and then I decided, I will never take another prescribed medication. I have been feeling really bad the next few days and finally figured out, I was experiencing bad withdrawal symptoms.Its worse than any illegal drug , I experimented when I was younger. Going Natural route with Magnesium/ Potassium and changing what I eat mainly sugar and carbs

God Bless you too. I also stopped Amlodipine suddenly because of severe joint pain. Also, was very fatigued to the point of just sitting all day. Very unhealthy way to live. My quality of life was horrible. After I stopped all this subsided. I am so happy. My blood pressure readings are acceptable, around the same that you have after stopping. I am going to continue this journey by losing weight. I know this will bring my blood pressure probably to normal range.
